ST. LOUIS — Brooks Koepka shot a final round 66 to win the PGA Championship on Sunday at Bellerive Country Club. He finished at 16 under par.
Winner of the past two U.S. Opens, Koepka took control of the tournament on Saturday and held off Tiger Woods to take his third career major at the age of 28.
Woods shot a 64 to finish the tournament at 14 under par to finish second, two strokes behind Koepka.
Prior to Koepka’s victory, only four players had won the U.S. Open and the PGA Championship in the same season: Woods, Jack Nicklaus, Ben Hogan and Gene Sarazen.
